Well, it turns out, you can dramatically increase your followers by adding one simple tool to your arsenal, a tool that thousands of people use to grow their Instagram accounts.

And in this review, I’m going to show you Stim Social. Although not exactly my favorite Instagram bot service.

What is Stim Social?

Instagram, Instagram, Instagram. I guess you can say it’s a love/hate relationship.

On the one hand, it’s so, very entertaining.

Especially when you have a 10-page research paper to write. With a mandatory number of 5-7 sources. All from the university database. Even though you found 6 good ones on Google.

And it’s due in 4 hours.

And all you have written on your Google Doc is “THE.” And your pineapple house is on fire.

(I hope you get the reference.)

But on the other hand, it can be a wee bit frustrating.

If you’re trying to boost your following for whatever reason, it can be pretty difficult. That is a fact. Which is exactly why these growth services have been so popular lately.

For example, back when I was trying to be the next Rupi Kaur, I fell for the whole ‘let’s buy IG followers!’ fad.

I thought it was the real deal since my bff’s little sister did it, and her follower count never dropped. And from what I knew, she didn’t use a service.

A friend of hers bought followers with his dad’s credit card.

So I thought: what could go wrong?

But instead of a legit dashboard, I paid $10 to someone that slid into my DM’s and swore they could boost my count.

Because, you know, my page was so popular.

(Cough, 200 followers.)

Well, lo and behold that definitely didn’t happen. My follower count went up to 2,000 and then fell within a matter of minutes.

Like fell back to my original 200. I may have even lost real followers in the process.

They also spam liked three of my photos. So out of the 65  I have on that profile, I have a few with 120 likes.

(Which did not level with the 2,000 followers I had for 2 minutes.)

Now, what was the lesson I learned from this?

The first: don’t send random people on the internet $10 when you’re a college student. That can buy you exactly one Starbucks drink. And you need that holy grail.

Second: never rely on Instagram bots.

So what does that mean about Stim Social?

They also claim to maximize your IG marketing. This little tidbit can seem very romantic, especially if you’re trying to build a business.

Marketing is the toughest aspect of the job. And if you’re new at it, it’s kind of hard to see where to begin.

Stim Social also says they can help you get real, organic engagement. Which, in turn, will convert your new followers to real customers.

To do this, they automate basic IG bots to help get the most out of the service similar to Follow Adder. The IG bots also work fast to help build your account pretty much overnight.

Now, your personal dashboard is probably the most important. It allows you to choose whatever settings you deem appropriate to help make it successful. (I.e. targeted demographics.)

That way your account is not popping up in random places. You’re able to figure out who exactly your audience is and how to market to them.

For example, I shop at places like Urban Outfitters and Brandy Melville. If Hot Topic were to advertise in my direction, I would quickly dismiss the post.

I mean, I may or may not have looked like a scene kid at one point. But the past is the past, I will not look back.

Though this might seem like the Messiah, keep in mind that you cannot go into something like this blind.

If you’re interested in Stim Social, you need to be well-versed in bots.

The one thing you need to remember is that Instagram is always on the lookout for services like this one. And if they catch you, your account will deactivate.

I mean, it violates their terms of service.

Not that anyone truly listens.

So if you do choose to use a bot like Stim Social. Proceed with caution and remember to ask yourself these questions:

• How are you going to boost your following?
• How are you going to achieve this using a bot that auto-likes posts?
• How will you refrain from looking like a spammy account?
• Who is your audience?
• How will you succeed?

Now that those questions are out of the way, I will say this. Stim Social does offer a satisfying platform for those who have experience with bots.

So remember to keep that in mind if you’re considering their growth services.

Well, Stim Social pretty much builds a profile of your brand. This includes your ideal demographics. So whoever you are trying to connect to, Stim Social can help you pinpoint them.

They help you get in touch with your ideal followers. The exact ones you need to build your social media presence. Which, is very crucial. You need a specific following to help you reach your end goal.

You’ll be liking photos and following people within your target audience. All this will be automated and that is how you will grow.

Much like many of these IG growth services, you’re able to track your growth on the dashboard. There, you can track your progress and see your growth.

All seems pretty nifty, amiright?

Yes, yes I am.

Who is Stim Social for?

Now, this isn’t a question I would ask under other circumstances. I mean, growing your IG count isn’t for one specific type of person.

In fact, most IG users pretty much want to have an insane amount of followers. Myself included. I mean, I put polls on my stories just for the validation.

But Stim Social has taken another approach. On their homepage (which is pretty much their only page), they show you who “uses Stim.”

Below is the list they put together:

• Food
• Beauty
• Travel
• Fashion
• Bloggers

Though I understand what they’re doing to advertise, this can be a little problematic. Only because it seems to separate the other IG users from the ones on their homepage.

If you don’t fall under any of these categories, why even use Stim Social? Will you succeed if you own a completely different company? Is Stim Social even for you?

I mean, it’s no secret who would use these growth services. The above IG users are the most popular. But some, like myself, advertise books, skincare products, etc.

There is a wide range of options out there. And to condense your buyers into a specific list is very much the opposite of what you should do.

Now, I’m not saying you can’t use Stim Social. What I’m saying is they should refrain from categorizing their clientele.

So if you come across their page and you see their list. Know it’s an all-size-fits all kind of service.

Any business can use their platform because they’re in the business of growing your IG.

On to everyone’s favorite topic: Stim Social Pricing!

The cool part? You can sign up for a 5-day trial. No credit card needed. All you gotta do is input basic contact info.

Like your email, so you can get bombarded with advertisements. Then, you need to connect directly to your Instagram account.

Side note: This is never anything I agree with. It always seems a little suspect to input your account information.

Now trials are always a great way to figure out if you want to commit. That’s why you always take a minute before swiping left or right on Tinder.

Anyways.

Stim Social lets you try out their services for 5-days. Trials are a feature all growth services should offer. It’s hard to figure out the correct fit for your company and not everything is for every person.

Some people want to build a following to become an influencer. Some people want to sell products. Some people want to sell services. Others want to be Instagram famous.

Trials then leave you the opportunity to figure out what exactly you need to succeed.

Now, how much do their packages cost if you feel like this is the right fit for you?

Well, you’re in luck because I have no idea.

When it comes to pricing, Stim Social is pretty sketchy. Unlike most other services, which are up-front about their pricing, Stim Social is not.

On their homepage, they take their time to focus on the 5-day trial. Which is a good option. But when you want to figure out how much you would have to put down if this is the path you want to go, it’s sketch.

But with my top-notch Nancy Drew skills, I was able to find the price breakdown.

It’s presented in a F.A.Q-like page.

The prices range from $10-$100/month, depending on the package. Each plan will provide different levels of followers and active engagement. And the degree of management of your IG presence.

Pricing also depends on how fast you want your account to grow.

But before I give you all the information you want, I would like to mention how much I love the names for these packages. When reading, please imagine it like a movie announcer.

• THE FAST PLAN: $9.95/month, 210 actions a day.
• TURBO PLAN: $19.95/month, 315 actions a day.
• EXTREME PLAN: $29.95/month, 420 actions a day.
• PRO PLAN: $39.95/month. This gives you extreme speed + engagement + direct messages and a clean feed.

Side note: clean feed means that you get the opportunity to mute anyone that Stim Social follows.

Don’t know why you would mute anyone when you can just, you know, hit that unfollow button.

Trust me, no one notices when someone unfollows them. Unless, of course, you have that weird stalking app that shows you who looks at your profile.

The final question remains: does Stim Social work?

Out of the long list of what they offer, the 5-day trial is one of the most attractive aspects of Stim Social.

BUT

Even though it is useful, it does not translate well in long-term use. If you choose the trial, the followers gained within that time may not stay once the trial has ended.

What that means is that you will have to go back and reach out to the followers you lost once your 5 days are up.

In essence, they’re not as organic as a vegan chastising me for eating a corndog.

So, once the trial expires, you pretty much lose the engagement you gained. The followers and you’re back at square one.

Stim Social is a bot service.

Which, in retrospect, is much less desirable.

When you’re trying to build your account, bots shouldn’t even be an option. Growth services – which use real people – have the business down to a science.

They pair you with an account manager that you get to work with one-on-one.

Any growth service that uses bots will often raise your follower count then drop them. Kind of like what happened to my account.

Luckily my Instagram didn’t deactivate. Which is a thing that can happen.

So, if you’re not careful with this kind of service, and you can’t operate bots, IG may investigate your account.

Oh no, they have bad customer service.

I mean, this right here should be a deal breaker.

Stim Social has a bad reputation when it comes to responding to account inquiries.

One user on trustpilot.com left a review by saying there are “no numbers to call. You need to leave a message on the site and wait for an answer.”

Which is at their convenience.

Never a good thing.

Another user said the service wasn’t worth the money.

So, is Stim Social it?

Well, what are the pros and what are the cons for Stim Social?

If the reviews weren’t enough to turn you away.

Let’s break it down.

Pros (Because I like to start with the positive)

• 5-day trial is a great way to test the service. (This is my favorite part.)
• You’re given a lot of managing options through the dashboard.
• The dashboard offers a lot of information. It’s also easy to use when it comes to tracking your account growth.
• The website is safe, legit, and secure. Which means you won’t get scammed since they operate with good payment gateways.

Cons (Because I like destroying dreams)

• No pricing upfront.
• IG-bot service.
• Lack of customer service representatives.
• Lack of real info online about the service. (Their site is pretty much limited to the homepage.)
• Can be very dangerous to your account if you’re not familiar with bot services. (Instagram will deactivate it if caught.)

Review Verdict

Yeah, I wouldn’t.

Personally, I have two issues with Stim Social. The first: pricing.

If you, as a company, have to hide the pricing from your customers, there are a lot of things you are hiding.

Well-known services are much more up-front with their deals. They show you exactly what you will be paying. That way you can decide if it’s within your budget.

My second issue: the bots.

Managing a social media account is a business. Even if you are not outright selling products.

It is a business.

With that being said, it is crucial that you treat it as such. Bot services are not a choice in the matter as there are too many negatives that outweigh the positives.

So, for Stim Social, I’m going to go with a hard no.
